Ann Copsey met her future business partner on a ski lift in the Swiss Alps.

Copsey, who at that time advised junior doctors on their finances, got chatting to Paul Howlett, a serial entrepreneur, as they made their way up the slopes of Mürren. Their conversation ended with them agreeing that senior physicians needed to form chambers, similar to those of barristers, to increase their bargaining power with health insurers, private hospitals and the health service.

Anglian Water extend contract with AHG in new 7 year deal

Alliance Health Group has recently announced the continuation of their association with Anglian Water Group (AWG), in a deal that will extend their current affiliation by a further seven years.

Throughout their relationship, which started in 2011, Alliance Health Group has continually strived to improve the health and wellbeing of AWG’s 4,000 employees and in 2017, an innovative, technological breakthrough signalled the introduction of a Virtual GP service. This service gives AWG members access to a ‘Virtual GP’ 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via a mobile device. A physiotherapy pathway has also been initiated, providing members with easy, hassle-free access to physiotherapy treatment. AWG has also recently launched Boost Benefits, a flexible wellbeing package for employees, securing their title as one of the best benefits packages in East Anglia.

VitalityHealth sign new three-year deal with Alliance Health Group

Birmingham-based Alliance Health Group has recently announced the continuation of their relationship with VitalityHealth, a deal that will extend their affiliation, lasting more than six years. The association between the two companies began in 2011, when Alliance Health Group became the sole provider of Vitality’s consultant panel and the stability of the relationship has now been further reinforced with the signing of a new three-year deal.
